A glutton from birth, I have spent over a decade working in a variety of kitchens spanning restaurants, pop ups, catering and food trucks. Knives were always an essential part of the picture, the merits and pleasures of having a sharp AND appropriately thin knife became of paramount importance to me. Thus began my transformation into a knife nerd. I quickly learned everything I could about knives and their proper maintenance: from thinning, blade geometry, making of custom handles and sayas, to the use of natural stones and polishing.

Since then, my knife has always been the sharpest in the kitchen. After using my knives, other chefs would ask me to sharpen theirs, amazed at how easy and fun knife work could be with the properly maintained tools. Casual sharpening for others quickly grew into a business, sharpening for restaurants and homes across New Orleans.

In 2021 I relocated to Oregon am thrilled to now offer my skills to you!
